What VoiceGem is and how it works.
VoiceGem is a native macOS app that turns your voice into text anywhere on your Mac. It runs AI speech models locally, so transcription is fast, works offline, and keeps your words on your device.
How it works
- Press your global shortcut to start recording.
- Speak naturally — VoiceGem transcribes on-device in real time.
- Release the shortcut and your cleaned-up text is pasted into the active app.
